The software is deployed on a portable drive, which is plugged directly into the forensic examiner’s computer. The software then allows the examiner to acquire images of iOS devices through iOS 18. The software uses the iTunes protocol to make images for processing.

You don’t need a powerhouse system to make this run efficiently, and it was designed this way on purpose. NITRO runs off of the Windows 10 or 11 Operating System.
Report formats include .html, .pdf, .csv, and .xml
You can include Apple Metadata, Export the Files, the hashes associated with the examination, Censor CSAM or “unsafe images”, and encrypt the report if necessary.
